LPN Inpatient Nurse

We are seeking a skilled LPN to join our inpatient nursing team at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assist RNs with medical histories and assigned duties within the LPN scope of care practice.
- Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, treatments, and IV initiation, within the LPN scope of care practice.
- Adhere to practices and policies outlined to ensure patient safety and follow infection control standards.
- Clinical Patient Documentation: Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate patient documentation in practical applications of moderate difficulty.
- LPN Patient Education: Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate patient education in practical applications of moderate difficulty.
- LPN Care Planning: Participates in the development of the plan of care in consultation with the licensed healthcare team.
- Clinical Competency: Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate nursing interventions in practical applications of moderate difficulty.
