Job Overview

We are looking for a Healthcare Office Supervisor to oversee the coordination of medical and health services within our organization. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare facility.

Key Responsibilities

1) Administrative Leadership: Direct and manage the staff, including physicians and office personnel, to foster a collaborative environment. Act as the primary contact between the practice and other clinical and administrative sectors of the Gulf Coast Interventional Pain Management Clinic.

2) Compliance and Standards: Ensure adherence to JCAHO and Pain Medicine standards in the physician office practice.

3) EHR Management: Oversee the proficiency of Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems among staff and providers, and promote educational initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

4) Issue Reporting: Accurately communicate any issues or concerns to the relevant personnel.

5) Community Liaison: Serve as the connection between the practice and the surrounding community.

6) Technology Integration: Facilitate the adoption of new applications and upgrades as necessary.

7) Billing Oversight: Ensure timely and accurate billing submissions to the business CEO, analyze insurance denial payments, and resolve related issues to maximize reimbursement for professional services.

8) Credentialing Management: Oversee the credentialing process for new providers, including maintaining and updating credentials files, completing necessary applications, and ensuring compliance with all relevant guidelines.

9) Continuous Improvement: Conduct regular reviews and updates of credentialing and re-credentialing processes to meet national standards.

10) Confidentiality Maintenance: Uphold the confidentiality of all sensitive provider information.

Work Environment

COVID-19 Precautions: Personal protective equipment is provided, and temperature screenings are conducted.

Remote Work: This position does not allow for remote work.

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: $28.00 per hour
