Our objective is to provide technology-based solutions that cater to the distinct needs of our government partners, facilitating their goals effectively and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Cybersecurity Team in assisting federal civilian clients to adhere to Federal cybersecurity standards, policies, and regulations.
  • Act as a proficient technical security advisor and security officer to business owners and stakeholders, providing leadership and hands-on management for the delivery of mission-critical cybersecurity.
  • Oversee multiple cybersecurity programs and manage a team of Information System Security Officers (ISSO) and assessors.
  • Conduct comprehensive security controls assessments in alignment with NIST Revision 5, from initiation to the submission of all assessment deliverables, including security assessment plans and reports.
  • Ensure a thorough understanding and application of Authorization to Operate (ATO) documentation requirements in all assessment activities.
  • Coordinate testing activities with relevant stakeholders and team leads.
  • Develop security assessment plans incorporating stakeholder input.
  • Conduct assessment interviews and tests, managing evidence effectively.
  • Collaborate with team leads and client management to create and maintain project plans.
  • Guarantee timely completion of all required deliverables with a focus on quality, recognizing that these will undergo independent review by clients.
  • Offer insightful recommendations to enhance the client's security posture.
  • Support organizational capability and practice development by providing expertise on cybersecurity threats and risks.
  • Draft key RMF A&A documents, including System Security Plans and Incident Response Plans.
  • Implement quality assurance measures to ensure high standards in all team deliverables.
  • Provide strategic guidance to enhance the organizational security program.
  • Analyze security design and impact for enterprise operations and solutions.
  • Assist in various assessment activities, including A&A security control assessments.
  • Engage with system stakeholders to complete all aspects of the A&A process.
  • Articulate the security architecture of systems and its integration with the enterprise security framework.
  • Perform continuous monitoring tasks, both technical and documentation-related.
  • Stay updated on evolving audit guidelines, Federal guidance, and regulations.
  • Lead and advise on remediation efforts and closure of control findings.
  • Execute all tasks efficiently while managing time and resources effectively.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve project objectives.
  • Implement effective project management practices for all team initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans and status reports.
  • Oversee financial, technical, administrative, contractual, and personnel aspects of the contract.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
  • Preferred Security Certification: CISSP, CISM, CAP, or equivalent.
  • Clearance: Must possess Public Trust.
  • Minimum of 3 years of technical experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a Federal agency.
  • 5+ years of experience with Federal Assessment & Authorization (A&A) processes.
  • 5+ years of experience in maintaining IT security policies and procedures.
  • Familiarity with the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP).
  • Strong understanding of the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) process, particularly NIST Revision 5 security controls.
  • Experience in developing and managing continuous monitoring and Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to convey security requirements to diverse audiences, including management and technical staff.
  • Demonstrated capability to integrate evolving security mandates into assessment processes.
  • At least 4 years of experience leading assessments and serving as the primary assessor on general support systems.
  • Experience with Cyber Security Assessment and Management (CSAM).
  • Ability to effectively communicate security concepts to various audiences.
  • Strong task management skills.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
