Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional service to guests and staff with a friendly and attentive approach.
  • Ensure compliance with attendance standards as per the operational needs of the hotel.
  • Uphold high standards of personal grooming and appearance, adhering to company uniform policies.
  • Maintain a warm and inviting atmosphere for guests and team members alike.
  • Address and resolve guest inquiries, complaints, and issues promptly and courteously.
  • Monitor and motivate Housekeeping staff, providing coaching and disciplinary actions as necessary.
  • Implement and maintain a structured cleaning schedule, ensuring thoroughness and consistency.
  • Manage and oversee all housekeeping equipment and supplies, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Conduct regular inventories of guest and cleaning supplies.
  • Supervise the efficient management of large guestroom turnovers.
  • Ensure adherence to departmental procedures for opening and closing operations.
  • Manage vendor relationships for external cleaning services.
  • Participate in the hiring process for Housekeeping staff, ensuring alignment with company standards.
  • Foster a positive work environment and promote ongoing training for all Housekeeping personnel.
  • Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to standards.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels for all housekeeping supplies.
  • Protect guest privacy and security by following established procedures.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the hospitality industry, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Previous supervisory experience is essential.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including spreadsheets and word processing.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to perform medium work, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds and frequently lifting up to 20 pounds.
