About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Polysomnograph Technologist to join our team at the University of California, Irvine. As a key member of our sleep disorders team, you will be responsible for conducting sleep studies to diagnose and treat patients with various sleep disorders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct sleep studies to diagnose and treat patients with sleep disorders
  • Operate and maintain sleep equipment, including polysomnographs and other diagnostic tools
  • Collect and analyze sleep data to identify patterns and abnormalities
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans for patients
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families on sleep disorders and treatment options


Requirements

  • Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Registration as a Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) through the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT)
  • 3+ years of experience in sleep disorders or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
