Lennar Homes is seeking a highly skilled Land Development Manager to oversee the development of our communities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of land development, from planning and entitlements to the completion of infrastructure and amenities.
Responsibilities:- Assist in the day-to-day management of project-specific land development, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget and quality standards.
- Supervise and direct subcontractors, ensuring high-quality workmanship and compliance with City or County requirements and applicable codes.
- Manage schedules, budgets, and cash flow projections, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary consulting teams to prepare and process land use documents and related infrastructure design/improvement plans.
- Assist in jurisdictional agency and public liaison/processing for all levels of required entitlements, CEQA requirements, and site development plans/documents.
- Maintain records of all changes on community projects, including change orders and purchase orders.
- Responsible for inspections and corresponding paperwork, as well as SWPPP management and compliance.
- Assist with coordination of builder activities, including design review, permits applications, and submissions.
- Approve subcontractor invoices and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Valid, unrestricted driver's license and good driving record required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in land acquisition and/or development.
- Excellent written, oral, organizational, and math skills.
- Ability to read, understand, and evaluate civil engineering/development plans.
- Professional attitude and ability to represent the company in a positive manner.
- Computer literate with ability to work with Microsoft Office.
