Are you a seasoned project management professional with a strong background in environmental remediation? We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to join our team at Volt.

Job Summary:

The Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for managing and executing environmental remediation projects from start to finish. This includes project planning, technical report preparation, and oversight of remedial/removal actions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of project management principles, including scope, scheduling, cost controls, and cost tracking.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and execute environmental remediation projects, including project planning, technical report preparation, and oversight of remedial/removal actions.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Prepare and present technical reports to clients and stakeholders.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in environmental remediation or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, geology, or environmental science.
  • Strong project management skills, including experience with project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and other relevant software.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • M.S. degree in a relevant field.
  • Professional certifications, such as P.E. or P.G.
  • Experience with project management software and tools.
