Job Summary

Volt is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our environmental remediation team, you will be responsible for managing and executing complex projects, ensuring timely completion, and delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and execute environmental remediation projects, including project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Develop and implement project management plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical, operations, and business development, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
  • Develop and implement quality control processes, ensuring high-quality project deliverables.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying knowledge to improve project outcomes.

Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in environmental remediation, project management, or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university.
  • 40-hour OSHA certification and current 8-Hour HAZWOPER Refresher.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite Products.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to effectively interact with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to project sites, as needed.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, geology, environmental science, or chemistry.
  • M.S. degree.
  • P.E./P.G. and/or other professional certifications.
  • Demonstrated project management experience, including operations start-up and close-out.
  • Previous involvement in preparing or contributing technical content and cost information to project proposals.

Salary: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
