About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Interiors Specialist to join our team at HQ Aero Management Inc. As an Aircraft Interiors Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality interior installations and repairs on various aircraft types.

Key Responsibilities
  • Disassembly, Repair, and Installation: Disassemble, repair, clean, adjust, and test cabin interiors and related equipment in accordance with applicable maintenance manuals and company policies.
  • Interior Furnishings and Trim: Remove and install aircraft interior furnishings, trim, and accessories, including carpeting, sidewalls, doors, windows, seats, panels, lavatories, galleys, and passenger service units, according to specifications.
  • Measurement and Marking: Measure and mark installation areas in aircraft interiors using measuring and marking instruments and templates, drills, reams, countersinks, and rivets.
  • Installation and Fabrication: Fit and install items in aircraft using hand tools, power tools, and fasteners, such as screws, rivets, bolts, and speed nuts. Fabricate and install supporting structural devices, such as clips, brackets, angles, gussets, and doublers, using shop equipment.
  • Quality Control: Ensure functional performance of installed items and rework installations as required.
  • Compliance and Safety: Operate in compliance with company safety practices and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of previous commercial MRO experience is preferred. 2+ years of interiors, fabrication, or related experience on heavy aircraft, including Boeing or Airbus, is required.
  • Education: High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
  • Certifications and Background Checks: Criminal background checks and compliance with FAA drug and alcohol screening checks are mandatory.
  • Tool Kit: Standard tool kit is required.
Working Environment

The Aircraft Interiors Specialist will work in a hangar and ramp environment, with moderate to high noise levels. The position may require working near moving mechanical parts in high, precarious places and exposure to fumes or airborne particles. Use of a respirator may be required.
