Senior Interior Designer, Sports Project Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Senior Interior Designer to join our team at HNTB, a leading architectural practice that delivers innovative solutions for complex infrastructure projects. Our team of design professionals is passionate about creating spaces that inspire and connect communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop design solutions for various projects and coordinate the design process through all phases.
- Establish the overall design direction, develop interior design concepts, and participate in client presentations.
- Collaborate with the team through design workshops and prepare documents during the design development and construction phases.
- Assist in the development of interior design concepts, lead the development of 2D and 3D graphics, and prepare presentations and collateral to convey design ideas to clients and project teams.
- Assist with architectural documentation and develop 3D concepts, and lead designers on small to medium-sized projects or limited scopes of larger projects.
- Plan and conduct tasks requiring independent judgment in design, planning, programming studies, and design layouts.
- Take initiative on tactical and strategic issues for space planning options or design direction, and bring forward new ideas and methods.
- Confer with interior designers, architects, and engineers to explain and interpret interior design standards, codes, and regulations.
- Assist in preparing project specifications, compiling and analyzing relevant data, and preparing presentations.
- Assist with material and color selection, furniture selection, layouts, and specifications.
- Task lead on small to medium-sized projects or limited scopes of larger projects, and communicate with project teams, consultants, and clients.
- Work independently to achieve project goals, milestones, and deliverables with oversight from senior team members.
- Provide mentoring to less experienced team members relative to projects and career development.
- Participate in quality implementation plans, including scheduling for QC reviews and compiling comments in project documents.
- Support business development efforts under the supervision of senior team members, and be responsive to client budgets and assist in value engineering efforts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or Interior Design and 8 years of relevant experience.
- RA/RID certification.
- Revit skills.
