Job Title: Floor Support Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Floor Support Associate to join our team at Gjelina Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the tables and bar are bussed and cleaned in a timely manner, providing full operational support during service, and maintaining the cleanliness of the venue pre-service, during service, and after service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bus and clean tables and bar in a timely manner
  • Provide full operational support during service
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the venue pre-service, during service, and after service
  • Set and reset tables in a timely manner
  • Clear tables with efficiency and grace
  • Assist in fulfilling soft beverage orders, coffee & tea orders
  • Provide full operational support to Expediter, Servers, Managers, Bartenders, and to deliver food to guests in a friendly, professional & knowledgeable manner in accordance with all Gjelina standards and procedures
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1-2 years restaurant or related experience (preferred)
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to use all relevant items of equipment
  • Understanding, knowledge, and ability to comply with safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
  • Ability to prioritize work activities, provide accurate information and assistance to any management or colleagues' request in a timely and courteous manner
  • Ability to keep calm when faced with any unusual situations
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the job
  • Ability to take direction
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure

Certificates and Training:

  • Food Handler Card. Must understand how to abide by the rules of the Department of Health related to Food Service and Employee + Guest Safety

Physical Demands:
