Job Title: Vice President, Industrials

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President to join our Industrial team at Carlyle Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and executing buyout transaction opportunities in the Industrial sector.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead evaluation and execution of LBO transactions reporting to Managing Directors and Principals
  • Manage due diligence process
  • Distill and present diligence findings, financial models, valuation, and returns to the Investment Committee
  • Determine appropriate valuations, legal/tax structures, and optimal capital structures
  • Negotiate transaction agreements and financing documents
  • Identify opportunities for performance improvement and value creation
  • Post-investment portfolio company monitoring, including evaluating company performance and working with company management on strategic initiatives such as add-on M&A and other value creation efforts
Requirements:
  • At least two to three years of post-MBA private equity experience
  • Strong academic credentials and a demonstrated interest in our core sectors
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to relocate to Washington, DC
Benefits:

The compensation range for this role is specific to Washington, DC and takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to the skill sets required/preferred; prior experience and training; licenses and/or certifications.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $250,000.

In addition to the base salary, the hired professional will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package spanning retirement benefits, health insurance, life insurance, and disability, paid time off, paid holidays, family planning benefits, and various wellness programs.

Additionally, the hired professional may also be eligible to participate in an annual discretionary incentive program, the award of which will be dependent on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
