Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in developing cutting-edge backend services and API solutions. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance APIs that support our products and services.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure API performance, security, and reliability through thorough testing, monitoring, and optimization.
  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance APIs that support our products and services.
  • Work with API gateways and manage API deployments, including security, access control, and infrastructure provisioning using Terraform.
  • Collaborate with backend engineers, SDK developers, and other stakeholders to define API requirements and specifications.
  • Implement best practices for API design, including versioning, error handling, and documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API performance, availability, and integrations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of recent professional experience in API development, including designing, building, and testing RESTful APIs.
  • Strong expertise in Kong Konnect and Terraform.
  • Knowledge of Server Send Event (SSE) Streaming API, API security, and rate limiting techniques.
  • Experience with testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Playwright, Postman, Mocha, Newman) for API testing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to effectively articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
