Architectural Product Management Role

RogueSearch, Hybrid

The Product Manager collaborates with Division Management and National Director of Planning and Design to coordinate and support architectural project needs across Maryland and Delaware divisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages project schedules to ensure timely completion.
  • Maintains plan files on the corporate server.
  • May oversee CAD associates, assist with training, and conduct performance reviews.
  • Coordinates schematic design reviews with division, consultants, and Planning and Design.
  • Assesses quality of work delivered by CAD Associate(s) and consultant team(s) and makes training recommendations.
  • Reviews projects at milestone completions to ensure they meet value design, target profile, division requirements, and quality drafting.
  • Drafts or coordinates revisions to construction drawings and schematics as needed.
  • Updates division team on project status using internal systems and maintains current systems.
  • Tracks and maintains all plan histories and versions.
  • Ensures documents comply with applicable building codes, jurisdictional requirements, and division/corporate standards.
  • Coordinates DRB / ARB submittal packages with municipalities.
  • Assists with other requests from VP of Operations and Division President.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in design/construction related field from accredited institution (preferred).
  • Minimum four years direct work experience including use of AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Knowledge of residential construction, building codes, and drafting standards.
  • Ability to use computers and drafting software efficiently and word processing, e-mail, and spreadsheet software for communication and data analysis.
  • Ability to work on several projects and tasks daily.
  • Available to work beyond normal hours if required to meet scheduled deadlines.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and communicate information necessary to perform duties.
