Position: Community Support Worker

We are looking for Community Support Workers to empower individuals to lead independent lives and engage fully in their communities.

As a Community Support Worker, you will serve as an advocate, companion, and facilitator, providing essential support to individuals with intellectual disabilities and various behavioral and mental health needs in their homes and communities.

Your responsibilities will include assisting with household management, activities of daily living (ADLs), running errands, attending appointments, and promoting self-advocacy, communication, and self-expression. You will work collaboratively to help individuals achieve their personal goals and outcomes, along with other necessary support tasks.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • At least two (2) years of experience working with individuals with Intellectual Disabilities or Autism
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience with individuals facing diverse behavioral or mental health challenges
  • Ability to work independently in home and community settings without direct supervision
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in technology (e.g., iPad) along with excellent organizational abilities
  • Valid Driver's License
