Key Responsibilities- Perform preventative maintenance on all production and supporting equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial, electrical, and electronic control systems
- Conduct preventive maintenance programs and maintain accurate records
- Install, maintain, and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices
- Maintain, repair, test, and install electrical motors, hydraulic, and pneumatic electrical control systems
- Perform general mechanical maintenance as required
- Two-year technical degree in an appropriate background preferred
- Fireman's License required
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Knowledgeable in industrial maintenance of facilities and equipment
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience repairing industrial processing equipment in a production environment required
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics required
- Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills required
- Lockout / Tagout experience required
- Ability to work overtime as needed required
The Maintenance Technician will work in a plant environment, including hot, noisy, and wet conditions. Some work may be performed in office environments. The position requires constant exposure to hazards, including confined spaces, chemicals, steam under pressure, climbing, working in positions above and under equipment, and throughout/outside of the facility.
