Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Chemical Process Operator to join our team at Milliken & Company. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of production equipment in our assigned production area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Operation: Set up and operate production equipment to produce microencapsulated products in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Process Monitoring: Monitor and adjust the process to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Documentation: Accurately document critical process steps and maintain records as required.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with team members to achieve production goals and objectives.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement efforts to optimize processes and improve efficiency.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Experience: Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
  • Skills: Ability to work under pressure, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Manufacturing Experience: Experience with production equipment and processes.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft software applications and keyboarding proficiency.
