Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced Housekeeping Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of daily housekeeping activities, including cleaning, inspections, and staff management.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular room inspections to ensure high standards of cleanliness and quality
- Train and supervise housekeeping staff to ensure they meet our high standards
- Assist in the development and implementation of housekeeping procedures and protocols
- Manage housekeeping schedules and reassign tasks as needed
- Clean and prepare entire short-term rental apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and common spaces
- Restock apartments with consumables, linens, and other essentials
- Ensure all furniture, appliances, and amenities are clean and in working order
- Clean hallways, building common areas, and offices as assigned
- Conduct special cleaning projects as assigned
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damage to company property
- At least 6 years of experience in housekeeping, with 3 years of supervisory experience in a hotel or hospitality setting
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Aptitude in coaching and training hourly employees
- Good executive overhead and ability to plan and manage a day efficiently
- Ability to walk up several flights of stairs and lift, push, and pull required loads (usually about 30 lbs)
- Positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- A competitive hourly rate of $18-$21, depending on experience
- Overtime pay at 1.5x on observed holidays
