POSITION SUMMARY
The Site Operations Supervisor embodies the core principles of Accountability, Reliability, and Collaboration. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and the ability to lead teams effectively.

The Site Operations Supervisor will champion our Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) initiatives aimed at safeguarding employees, clients, and assets, ensuring that all team members return home safely each day.

This position is crucial for achieving success through diligence, ethical conduct, and fostering the growth of oneself and others.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the Area Manager and General Manager in overseeing your team of safety professionals.

Engage daily with all Area Staff, striving for Continuous Improvement across all operational sectors.

Provide direct oversight for Field teams.

Balance Field and Office Duties; 80% in the Field and 20% in the Office.

Prioritize safety, quality, training, employee engagement, and retention as central focuses of the operation.

Safeguard the company’s workforce, clients, and assets from losses, injuries, and accidents by enforcing safe work practices.

Responsible for enhancing the knowledge and skills of the company’s drivers.

Support the Area Manager in addressing performance issues with Delivery Drivers.

Assist in resolving employee and client concerns.

Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve objectives and explore new business avenues.


Support Account Managers in conducting field assessments, participating in pre-job discussions, meeting with clients, and working alongside the team in the field as necessary.

Ensure that customer service matters are handled swiftly and effectively while maintaining the highest standards of service and communication with Dispatch and the Account Manager.

Assist in reviewing daily schedules to ensure crews arrive punctually at job sites.

Monitor daily employee matters including timekeeping, safety briefings, customer issues, and training needs.

Facilitate team-building initiatives and maintain regular communication with team members.

Engage in the training of new and existing employees to minimize turnover, enhance efficiency, and reduce labor costs.

Obtain relevant certifications as required.

Become a knowledgeable resource in work zone setup/design and professional flagging practices.

Perform other duties as assigned.
