Job Summary

We are seeking a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist to join our team at our Great Falls, MT clinic. As a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist, you will provide administrative and clinical support to ensure efficient clinic operation, supporting clinic providers and patients through various tasks related to patient care, clinic maintenance, front office responsibilities, and maintaining communication with other Ideal Option departments.

Responsibilities
  • Check patients in for their appointments and confirm and update patient demographics.
  • Obtain release of medical records from patients and collect co-pays.
  • Obtain vital signs and breathalyzers from patients and collect urine samples for laboratory testing.
  • Witness patients for observed dosing and observed urine and perform skin assessments.
  • May draw patient blood samples and maintain cleanliness of the clinic.
  • Order cleaning supplies as needed by the clinic.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED necessary. Proof of diploma or GED will be required.
  • Maintain MA licensing through the state/agency (as applicable per state).
  • Maintain BLS/CPR certification.
  • CMA or National Certification preferred.
  • Strong computer skills.
