Medical Screener/Phlebotomist Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Screener/Phlebotomist to join our team at BioLife Plasma Services. As a Medical Screener/Phlebotomist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors while collecting high-quality plasma.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for screening new and repeat donors, taking and recording donor vital signs and finger stick results, and using our Donor Information System to prepare donor charts and maintain accurate records. You will also be responsible for coordinating donor compensation and identifying operational opportunities for continuous improvement.

What You Will Contribute:

  • You will provide exceptional customer service to our donors, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the donation process.
  • You will work closely with our team to maintain a clean and organized plasma collection environment.
  • You will be responsible for adhering to all company policies and procedures, including those related to donor safety and plasma collection.
  • You will participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest plasma collection techniques and procedures.
  • You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 5 pounds and occasionally lift materials up to 32 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
