Mortgage Branch Manager Job Description

Job Summary:

Finance of America is seeking an experienced Mortgage Branch Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for mentoring and monitoring sales staff, developing business plans, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and coordinate sales employees, branch operations, and personnel development activities to increase sales production and market share.
  • Develop forecasts, financial objectives, and business plans to drive business growth.
  • Mentor and monitor sales staff to ensure they meet sales targets and maintain high ethical standards.
  • Utilize knowledge, training, and experience to promote Finance of America's loan products and maintain strict compliance with regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in market conditions that affect our loan products and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience originating mortgage loans.
  • Prior experience working with automated Loan Origination Systems.
  • Must meet all applicable qualifications and standards required for Loan Officer Licensure under the SAFE Act.
  • Extensive track record of developing retail mortgage business through referral relationships.
  • Knowledge of QC Compliance and proven success in building, leading, and guiding a motivated sales team.
  • Current knowledge of mortgage banking, all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BA - Bachelor of Arts degree.
  • Proficient in MS Office Word, Outlook, and Excel.
