Job Overview

Primoris Heavy Civil Services is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead our heavy/civil highway construction projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing project operations, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and evaluate superintendents' performance, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Develop and implement training programs for superintendents and field personnel, promoting leadership skills and professional growth.
  • Collaborate with the Division Manager to develop and enforce personnel policies, ensuring a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Monitor and control construction operations, including equipment utilization and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, accident reporting, and documentation procedures.
  • Coordinate with the accounting department to ensure timely payment for completed work.
  • Maintain relationships with subcontractors, owners, and engineers, fostering open communication and collaboration.
  • Establish and monitor production goals, ensuring team members meet expectations.
  • Monitor equipment hours and utilization, optimizing resource allocation.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience as a Project Manager on Highway, Road, and Bridge projects.
  • 5+ years of experience working on TxDOT projects.
  • Proven ability to implement innovative management techniques, maximizing employee performance and project success.
  • Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and excellent computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
