Job Title: Project Manager - Major Projects

Job Summary:

Tallgrass is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the development and execution of major projects in the pipeline and facility operations sector. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, engineering, and construction, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute project plans, including project scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects, including project engineers, construction managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and changes, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including project status, risks, and issues.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project delivery and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in project management, engineering, and construction, with a focus on pipeline and facility operations.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, including project scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Experience with project management software, including Primavera and MS Project.
  • Knowledge of pipeline and facility operations, including pipeline design, construction, and maintenance.
