A challenging opportunity has arisen for an experienced Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at ARA Diagnostic Imaging. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examinations to demonstrate anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention by licensed practitioners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily quality assurance of the MR schedule to ensure efficient workflow and patient care.
- Conduct accurate MR procedures and apply educated judgment during the examination to ensure appropriate anatomical, pathological, and clinical conditions are accurately imaged.
- Review images to provide quality diagnostic imaging and ensure patient safety and comfort during care.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and accurate diagnosis.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to provide high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
- Graduate of a recognized, approved AMA council of Education program in radiological technology.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) is required.
- Current CPR and AED certification.
- MR registry through the ARRT will be required within six months of hire date.
Working Conditions:
This role requires moderate physical activity, including kneeling, reaching, and stooping. The ability to assist patients, up to 650 pounds, from sitting, standing, and lying positions with the use of proper lifting methods is essential.

A successful incumbent will possess high energy, drive, and a positive attitude, with a commitment to customer service and teamwork. The ability to multitask and focus on achieving results is essential for this role.
