About the Role

We are seeking an experienced MRI Advanced Specialist to join our team at Texas Children's Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and perform routine and specialized MRI examinations, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
  • Manage workflow and communicate effectively with nursing, anesthesia, and other impacted parties to ensure seamless exam flow.
  • Document incidents, variances, and patient concerns, and complete Safety Scoops as necessary.
  • Train and develop staff and students on new policies, procedures, and SOPs.
  • Participate in continuing education programs and stay up-to-date with the latest imaging techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a formal diagnostic radiology program required.
  • MR-AART certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required.
  • R-AART certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists preferred.
  • 6 years of radiology experience required.
  • CMRT from the Texas Medical Board preferred.
