You will also prepare and position patients, select anatomic and technical parameters, and perform patient pre-screening, scheduling, and education related to the examination.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a scanner to obtain high-quality images used to diagnose and treat various pathologies.
  • Prepare and position patients for MRI examinations, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Select anatomic and technical parameters accurately to produce high-quality images.
  • Perform patient pre-screening, scheduling, and education related to the examination.
  • Enter and monitor patient data, transfer images from disk to magnetic media, and develop film in an automatic processor.
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents sent to PACS.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area, and other areas.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date.
  • One or more of the following certifications: Nuclear Medical Tech, Radiologic Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Medical Sonographer, or Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience, Associate's degree, or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
