About the Job:

As a Group Life Counselor at Sea Mar Community Health Centers, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young adults struggling with substance abuse. Our team provides comprehensive care to patients in a supportive and non-judgmental environment.

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $20.04 - $22.97 per hour, based on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, prescription coverage, life insurance, long-term disability, EAP (Employee Assistance Program), paid-time-off, and 10 paid holidays.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct services to patients, including group care, intake procedures, evaluation, individual and group counseling, milieu management, and supervision of patients.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Human Services, or related field.
  • At least two years of experience working with high-risk youth or adults, preferably in a residential treatment setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Must have a valid Washington State driver's license if applicable.
