Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fire Protection Systems Technician to join our team in installation, repairs, and modifications to fire alarm and detection systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with fire detection systems, including VESDA, FM200 and other gas extinguishing systems, and knowledge of National Fire Alarm Code.

Responsibilities
  • Install new fire protection systems and components in full compliance with applicable codes and standards.
  • Inspect and test fire protection or fire detection systems to ensure they meet industry and company standards.
  • Maintain current knowledge of fire codes, regulations, and alarm systems through training classes.
  • Respond to service calls for fire alarm and detection systems, including emergency calls during non-standard working hours.
Requirements
  • A high school graduate or equivalent required.
  • At least 1 year of experience in Fire Protection/Life Safety industry.
  • NICET Certification Level II or higher in Fire Alarm Systems required.
  • A valid driver's license and clean Department of Motor Vehicles report.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and climb at heights.
