Behavioral Therapist

Soliant is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team as a Lead BCBA in a full-time position.
This role will involve working with students with disabilities and challenging behaviors in a school setting, conducting comprehensive functional behavior assessments, developing individualized behavior intervention plans, and providing training and support to staff members.
The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Education, or Psychology, and have a strong knowledge of federal and state laws pertaining to special education and behavior management in schools.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive functional behavior assessments (FBA) to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviors exhibited by students.
- Develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIP) based on the findings from the FBA, employing evidence-based strategies and techniques.
- Provide training and support to staff members on the effective implementation of behavior intervention plans, ensuring consistent and appropriate interventions.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behavior intervention plans by systematically collecting and analyzing data on student behavior.
- Collaborate closely with school personnel, parents, and community agencies to ensure the student's unique needs are met and interventions are consistent across environments.
- Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, offering valuable input on the development of goals and objectives related to behavior management.
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Possess a Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Education, or Psychology.
- Demonstrate previous experience working with students with disabilities and challenging behaviors in a school setting.
- Exhibit exceptional organizational and communication skills to effectively collaborate with school personnel, parents, and community agencies.
- Display a strong knowledge of federal and state laws pertaining to special education and behavior management in schools.
