Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Product Roadmaps: Review divisional sales goals and customer experience for assigned areas and translate them into logically sequenced and optimized action plans. Develop product and feature roadmaps for areas of expertise.
  • Oversee and Ensure Adherence to Plans: Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair site functionality and/or the team's ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals. Manage prioritization and trade-offs among merchandise, engineering, user experience, and customer support.
  • Develop and Manage Product Features: Develop detailed product features, requirements, and implementation plans. Manage and oversee existing functionality of assigned areas. Identify customer segments with strong growth potential and opportunities to innovate and improve, providing additional benefits to customers and profitability/ROI to the organization.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Lead cross-functional teams to envision new product features. Coordinate among a wide range of cross-functional internal and external resources to ensure that products features get to market per specifications.
  • Develop and Execute Business Strategies: Develop and be accountable for long- and short-term goals that directly impact the growth for the adoption and usage of the Walgreens front-end store business for assigned products and features.
  • Define and Analyze Markets: Define and analyze markets, including but not limited to the measurement and analysis of existing pricing and merchandising. Evaluate technologies and identify opportunities to innovate and improve.
  • Perform Business and Financial Analysis: Perform business and financial analysis, monitoring, and reporting. Build business cases to justify expenditures for building products.
  • Provide Expertise and Guidance: Perform as a subject matter expert and consultant to senior management and key stakeholders in areas of expertise. Build strong internal relationships with technology and development teams to drive implementation of new product features and strategies.
  • Develop and Mentor Staff: Develop and mentor staff through on-boarding, open communication, training, and development opportunities and performance management processes. Build and maintain employee morale and motivation. Ensure the team is appropriately staffed with required competencies. Foster a diverse and inclusive workplace.
  • Identify Industry Best Practices: Identify industry best practices in ecommerce and build vendor relationships. Understand how technology advancements drive sales and increase customer satisfaction. Keep up to speed on all new product launches in the online space.
