Job Title: RN Practice Specialist

Ascension Sacred Heart is seeking a highly skilled RN Practice Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving quality and safety initiatives across our pediatric and NICU departments.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with clinical leaders to develop and implement evidence-based practice guidelines and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with caregivers to improve patient outcomes and drive nursing quality indicators.
  • Support clinical leaders in aggregating and interpreting quality and patient safety data to inform care decisions.
  • Guide the implementation of Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) projects, including the revision of order sets and practice guidelines at the unit or division level.
  • Conduct unit rounds with a focus on coaching and mentoring in partnership with clinical leadership.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • 2 years applicable experience required.
  • CNS or CNL certification highly preferred.
