Preferred Skills:

  • Conducts all-source analytic production on foreign logistics infrastructure and networks related to strategic mobility and operational planning.
  • Analytic focus includes, but is not limited to, evaluating roads, rail systems, inland ports, depots, and maintenance facilities to assess their physical characteristics and vulnerabilities.
  • Provides assessments on global transportation and logistics control systems.
  • Analyzes foreign military logistics systems, encompassing both conventional and unconventional structures, from command organization to storage and distribution networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops briefings and analytical products to outline threat environments.
  • Advises and supports the research and production of all-source counterintelligence analysis regarding foreign intelligence services' capabilities and intentions.
  • Responds to critical information requests and contributes to finished intelligence production.
  • Conducts open-source research utilizing subscription and publicly available data.
  • Defines threat concepts related to identified components and systems.
  • Evaluates threats to enhance realism in assessing operational effectiveness and survivability of identified systems.
  • Determines resource requirements and availability concerning transportation/logistical threats, identifying gaps between adversarial capabilities and actual threats.
  • Coordinates with intelligence, acquisition, and industry sectors.
