Banquet Bartender

The Banquet Bartender plays a pivotal role in enhancing the guest experience during banquet events at HYATT Hotels. This position involves the skilled preparation and service of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining a well-stocked bar, and ensuring the responsible and efficient service of drinks to guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mix, garnish, and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and specialty drinks in accordance with established recipes.
• Set up the bar area for banquet events, including stocking liquor, glassware, utensils, and garnishes.
• Regularly check and maintain bar equipment, such as blenders, shakers, and refrigeration.
• Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale and service of alcohol.
• Follow proper sanitation and ensure the bar is always free from safety hazards.
• Process guest payments accurately, handle cash and credit card transactions, and provide change as necessary.
• Serve guests promptly and responsibly, ensuring compliance with legal drinking age service guidelines.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of various alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Understanding of responsible alcohol service and compliance with local laws.
• Previous experience as a bartender in a banquet or upscale dining setting is required.
• Previous Hotel experience desired.
