Job Summary

As an Activity Aide, you will play a vital role in creating a engaging and interactive environment that promotes socialization, recreation, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Activity Director in planning and conducting individual, small, and large group activities that cater to diverse interests and abilities.
  • Participate in the development of a monthly activity calendar and maintain accurate attendance records.
  • Arrange transportation for residents as needed, including outings, appointments, and discharges.
  • Assist with assessment documentation and quarterly progress notes as assigned by the Activity Director.
  • Encourage residents to participate in self-initiated activities, such as hobbies, crafts, and reading.
  • Provide materials and resources, including Braille and audio books, as necessary.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and secure Activity Department.
