Maintenance Engineer

The Maintenance Engineer is a key member of the Graduate Princeton team, responsible for ensuring the hotel's facilities are well-maintained and in excellent condition. This role involves performing routine maintenance tasks, identifying and addressing potential issues, and collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless hotel operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities to identify areas for improvement and potential safety hazards.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs, replacements, and upgrades to equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with hotel equipment and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure hotel operations run smoothly and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory management.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or college coursework in a related field preferred.
• At least one year of experience in a hotel or related field, with a focus on maintenance and repair.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with diverse groups and individuals.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
