Job Summary:

The Production Home Assembler is a critical role within our factory assembly line environment, responsible for accurately and efficiently preparing and assembling building components and homes. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate various hand tools, power tools, and equipment to complete carpentry duties, including circular saws, table saws, routers, pneumatic nail guns, drills, and other necessary tools.
  • Frame, layout, and build floors, walls, and roofs, ensuring precise measurements and construction.
  • Install and prepare electrical lines, switches, receptacles, and panels/breaker boxes, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Complete roof construction, decking, flashing, and shingling, ensuring a watertight seal.
  • Cabinet and finish carpentry, including trim and installation, to create a high-quality finish.
  • Install siding, windows, and doors, ensuring proper fit and function.
  • Perform painting of interior and exterior of homes, maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with team members to promote a positive and productive work environment.
  • Adhere to all company safety standards and regulations, reporting any incidents or concerns.
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • High School diploma, preferred.
Working Conditions:
  • Continuous exposure to heat, cold, noise, and working outdoors.
  • Must wear protective equipment while at the location.
Physical Requirements:
  • Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree.
  • Heavy Work-Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds or force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate with employees and function safely around construction equipment.
