Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex projects, develop insightful analytics, and drive customer value through data-driven decision making.
  • Plan and manage projects, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources to achieve expected outcomes.
  • Manage RFP and evaluation processes for medical equipment, construction, and facility maintenance categories, ensuring seamless coordination with customer supply chain and construction/facilities teams.
  • Benchmark supplier pricing, identify savings opportunities, and develop strategies to drive cost savings.
  • Collaborate with customer teams, including Legal, Risk Management, Compliance, and other support departments, to ensure contracting activities align with customer policies and procedures.
  • Review architectural specifications, prepare supplier alignment, and validate customer and Vizient contract utilization for direct and third-party spend.
  • Craft and deliver clear, concise communications to senior leadership and executive-level audiences.
  • Cultivate and develop vendor relationships, negotiate pricing and value adds, and deliver customer savings opportunities.
  • Design and execute project work plans, provide status updates, and identify, track, and validate savings achieved through program engagement.
  • Mentor, lead, and develop members of the consulting team.
  • Contribute to practice development through conference presentations, publications, and product/service development.
  • Support business development through lead generation and sales participation.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 7 or more years of experience in architectural/engineering/construction/estimating/medical equipment procurement and logistics.
  • Experience in consulting, analytics, health care supply chain procurement, and understanding of clinical and non-clinical activities and processes within the healthcare industry.
  • Ability to interact with senior executives, providers, and staff at all levels.
  • Proficient in project management principles, practices, techniques, and tools.
  • Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year.
