Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and flexible Registered Nurse RN to join our OR team. As a Surgery nurse, you will be responsible for providing patient care and assuming individual responsibility and accountability for the provision of nursing care for geriatric, adult, adolescent, and pediatric patients.
Responsibilities- Under the general direction of the Clinical Manager/Director, coordinates and provides patient care and assumes individual responsibility and accountability for the provision of nursing care.
- Nursing care is provided in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, applicable state Nursing Practice Acts, ANA Standards of Practice, and AORN Standards of care.
- Accountable for identification of risks, hazards, and mitigation efforts of unsafe practices.
- Must have experience working as a Circulating RN and have strong trauma, ortho, neuro, and Davinci skills or be able to attend one of StaRN + cohorts.
- Must have strong critical thinking and multitasking skillset.
- Must have a minimum of 1-year Operating Room experience.
- Must have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Graduation from a school of nursing required.
- Current Missouri RN license or Multistate RN License from a participating compact state required.
- BCLS required.
- CNOR preferred.
