Job Overview

POSITION SPECIFICS

  • Compensation: $21/hour
  • Schedule: Both full-time and part-time positions are available. Full-time hours are Monday through Friday, starting at 7:30 AM until completion of tasks. Flexibility to stay until work is finished each day and to work occasional weekends is required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support food safety and quality assurance systems.
  • Collaborate with production supervisors and managers to address any inconsistencies or product issues.
  • Oversee quality parameters in the processing area to ensure adherence to product safety and quality standards, customer requirements, GMPs, and government regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation standards.
  • Conduct environmental, equipment, and allergen swabbing.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Report any findings or discrepancies.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficient in English for business communication, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Accountability and responsibility for actions.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Experience in a food production environment.
  • Bilingual candidates are highly regarded.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • The food processing area maintains a controlled indoor temperature. Floors and surfaces may be wet, and appropriate footwear is required to ensure safety and hygiene.
