We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Research Coordinator to join our team at NYU Langone Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our research studies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities- Data Collection and Management: Utilize established methodologies to collect patient information for research projects, gather and compile data, statistics, and other materials as needed.
- Study Coordination: Work with research teams to ensure study protocols are followed, and data is collected and analyzed accurately.
- Communication and Collaboration: Interface with patients, families, and study collaborators to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including IRB and other approvals.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare brief reports to share preliminary findings and provide updates on study progress to the study team.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of two years of progressively responsible project coordination experience, preferably in a research setting.
- Skills: Proficiency in using various Microsoft Office applications, effective oral and written communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) Certification: Preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology: Preferred.
- Experience in Academic Medical Centers: Preferred.
