Job Title: Clinical Research Coordinator I

Job Summary:
Columbia University is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clinical Research Coordinator to support multiple research studies. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and implementing clinical trials and protocols involving human subjects.

Responsibilities:
Screen, enroll, and treat research subjects in compliance with established regulations and guidelines.
Assist with eligibility assessment and obtaining written informed consent as appropriate.
Function as a liaison with sponsoring agencies and external sites.
Collect, process, and store study samples.
Assist with regulatory submissions, including protocol review and monitoring.
Provide cross-coverage to various research team members as needed.
Maintain Study Manager data entry for all assigned studies.

Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in education and experience, plus three years related experience.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Participation in the medical surveillance program.
Contact with patients and/or human research subjects.
Potential bloodborne pathogen exposure.
Successful completion of applicable compliance and systems training requirements.
