Key Responsibilities
  • Donor Interaction: Interact with donors to ensure a positive experience, answer questions, and provide education on the donation process.
  • Phlebotomy Procedures: Perform phlebotomy procedures, including venipuncture, to collect blood samples from donors.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and calibrate equipment to ensure proper function and safety.
  • Donor Flow Management: Monitor and manage donor flow to ensure efficient and timely processing.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record donor data and incidents in the electronic donor information management system.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Minimum twelve (12) months experience in a medical or health care environment preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Skills: Bilingual skills in English and Spanish required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
Working Conditions
