Key Responsibilities
- Provide medical expertise and oversight of care for patients within the Memorial Hermann Healthcare System.
- Exercise the highest level of expertise to optimize quality of care, ensuring that patients receive the best possible treatment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide seamless, patient-centered care.
- Develop and implement effective care plans, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each patient.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, guidelines, and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure that everyone is informed and engaged in the care process.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the ongoing development of our healthcare system.
- Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and compassion in all interactions.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of medicine.
- Current state medical license.
- Current Federal Drug Enforcement Agency license.
- Staff privileges at all hospitals for which coverage is being provided.
- Board certification or board eligibility.
- Basic Cardiac Life Certification or Advanced Cardiac Life Certification.

Working Conditions
