Nuclear Medicine Technologist I Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct nuclear medicine procedures with moderate complexity using radioactive substances, ensuring compliance with radiation safety standards and guidelines.
  • Provide direct assistance to physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, including sterile technique assistance.
  • Collaborate with the patient care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes, adhering to high-quality service standards.
Essential Qualifications
  • Graduate of an education program approved by the credentialing body for Radiologic Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Tech (ARRT-N).
  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (CMRT) licensure required.
  • BLS certification (AHA) is essential.
Competitive Salary and Benefits
