Job Title: Clinical Nurse I - Labor & Delivery

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse I to join our Labor and Delivery team at the County of Santa Clara CA. As a Clinical Nurse I, you will provide direct patient care to women and newborns, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide routine direct patient care to women and newborns in the Labor and Delivery unit
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members

Requirements:

  • Active California Registered Nurse License without restrictions
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Basic Life Saving Certification (BLS)
  • Ability to work alternate shifts, including nights and weekends
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
