Advanced Practice Nurse

We are seeking an Advanced Practice Nurse to join our team at Jennie Stuart Medical Center, Inc. as a Patient Care Specialist.
Job SummaryThe Advanced Practice Nurse will provide high-quality patient care and education while working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient progress.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and communicate effectively with patients and families.
- Conduct health education programs and counseling sessions to promote healthy behaviors and disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including documentation of patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes.
- Graduate of an accredited advanced practice nursing program.
- Current licensure as an APRN in Kentucky or multi-state license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- DEA license as required by department.
- Eligibility for board certification by the appropriate governing body.
This is a full-time position that requires flexibility, collaboration, and effective communication skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve exceptional patient care and outcomes.
Compensation and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
