Job Description

As a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for leading clinic staff, providing guidance, and ensuring quality professional services and patient satisfaction. You will also implement clinical protocols, maintain accurate patient charts, and adhere to Federal and State regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need at least 1-2 years of experience as a provider in a relevant practice, such as Urgent Care or Occupational Medical Facility, ER or Trauma Unit, Family Medical Practice. A Master's Degree in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner License are also required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead clinic staff in behaviors, actions, and attitude.
  • Ensure accurate completion of patient charts.
  • Implement clinical protocols.
  • Maintain behavior compliant with Federal and State regulations.
  • Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests.
  • Prescribe medications and educate patients.
  • Analyze and interpret patient data.

Additional Requirements

For Centers of Excellence, you will be required to complete preceptor training, engage with Learning and Development, and meet new employees on their first day. You will also submit weekly evaluations on trainees' progress and communicate training progress or concerns as appropriate.
