Position Summary

The Conflicts Analyst will support the firm's programs, including new business and conflicts intake and lateral hiring. The role involves receiving and evaluating initial conflict check information, performing corporate and online research, and producing conflict reports to summarize potential or actual conflicts of interest.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate information obtained from partners and practice coordinators for accuracy and completeness
  • Research entities using internal and third-party resources
  • Conduct comprehensive client due diligence and sanction checks on potential new clients and new matters
  • Prepare and conduct conflict searches on the firm's databases
  • Generate new business conflict reports and conflict reports related to lateral hiring
  • Analyze search results in accordance with ethical rules and firm policies
  • Provide excellent customer service to firm constituents regarding the conflict clearance process
  • Participate in the testing and review of new software systems
  • Assist with department projects and special requests

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or J.D. with strong academic performance required
  • 2+ years of professional work experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat required
  • Must live within a commutable distance to the local office required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with conflicts, compliance, analytical research, and/or experience with corporate research resources
  • Proficiency in Intapp products preferred

Salary

The target annual salary range for this role is $72,000 - $84,000 based on a regular, full-time schedule.
