Job Summary

As a Client Service Specialist at McGriff Insurance Services, you will play a vital role in building and maintaining professional relationships with clients, vendors, and teammates. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional internal and external service support, working closely with the sales and service teams to achieve our agency's revenue and retention goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Process new and renewal business within established timelines and quality standards, ensuring accurate updates and maintenance of client information in our management system.
2. Escalate complex issues to internal contacts, adhering to department standards and protocols.
3. Provide timely information to clients, including plan details, rates, contributions, and carrier contacts.
4. Prepare policy notebooks for delivery to clients, assemble proposals and presentations for client and prospect meetings, and address client questions and issues.
5. Assist in preparing new and renewal proposals, stewardship reports, service plans, comparisons, and presentations, showcasing creativity and attention to detail.
6. Support the service and production teams in achieving overall agency revenue and retention goals.
7. Maintain daily client processing functions, including endorsements, policies, audits, pending cancellations, and ID cards.
8. Collaborate with the marketing team on various initiatives, as needed.
9. Document member and client communications in our client management services tool, adhering to department standards.
10. Prepare presentations, spreadsheets, direct bill, accounting discrepancies, and other communications based on internal team and client needs.
11. Assist clients with claims resolution and participate in company-sponsored seminars, training workshops, and webinars to enhance industry knowledge and education.
12. Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.

Qualifications

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and a strong ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines. Prior experience in the insurance industry is preferred, but not required.
